{"id":3284,"date":"2019-06-25T16:56:03","date_gmt":"2019-06-25T14:56:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bodegapardotolosa.com\/?p=3284"},"modified":"2020-11-08T14:17:27","modified_gmt":"2020-11-08T12:17:27","slug":"la-vid-se-encuentra-ya-en-pleno-proceso-de-floracion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bodegapardotolosa.com\/en\/la-vid-se-encuentra-ya-en-pleno-proceso-de-floracion\/","title":{"rendered":"The vine is already in full bloom"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5>&nbsp;<strong>The vine is already in full bloom<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3285 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/bodegapardotolosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/6-200x133.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"133\"><\/p>\n<p>We have now reached the stage of flowering and fruit set of <strong>the vines<\/strong> and all indications are that the <strong>harvest<\/strong> this year will be excellent!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The vine<\/strong> is the basis of the winemaking process for any winery, as it is this climbing plant that produces grapes as fruit which, as you know, once fermented is used to make wine.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore <strong>the vines<\/strong> deserves to be cared for at all times and any winegrower worth his salt must be constantly aware of the evolution of the vine, especially in the <strong>phases<\/strong> The most sensitive issues it has to deal with.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3286\" src=\"http:\/\/bodegapardotolosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\"><\/p>\n<p>One of these <strong>phases<\/strong> is the <strong>time of flowering and fruit set of the fences and cluster<\/strong> that <strong>the vines<\/strong> is going through right now and is undoubtedly one of the most sensitive periods of plant care, as this is the point at which we apply the only product we can use in our organic production, sulphur.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>cycle<\/strong> will be extended until the thickness of the fences completely closes the cluster, and we will have to keep a constant eye on how the thicknesses are developing and that the flowering is optimal and the fruit set is perfect.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3287\" src=\"http:\/\/bodegapardotolosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"697\" height=\"460\"><\/p>\n<p>Once, thanks to the hard work and dedication of our winegrowers, we will successfully overcome this <strong>stage<\/strong> (which will run until July and August), will start the <strong>veraison phase<\/strong>, we will have to concentrate our efforts on controlling the ripening of the grapes.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, from this moment on, any weather phenomenon could affect the harvest and reduce its quality for the next season, so until harvest time we will have to keep our eyes fixed on the sky and hope that there are no weather surprises and that everything runs its course. As long as the weather respects the harvest, we are sure that the wines will be a success!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;The vines are now in full bloom.
